About the event
May we receive whatever we and the world may need at this present moment
This time calls on us, more than ever, to go within and tap into the depth of our universal healing powers to find the resources we need to bring balance within ourselves and the world around us. The Autumn Equinox marks the time of the year of equal night and day. This is a meaningful time to turn inward, clear our inner space, compost and release the old, and use this energy to sow new and fertile grounds for transformation and mature visions with greater presence, compassion, and equanimity. All are welcome. There is no prerequisite.
WHAT IS REIKI? The system of Reiki offers a set of gentle, yet powerful spiritual healing practices that promote wholeness and overall well-being. Reiki is a Japanese word that translates as the spiritual power of the universe that animates all living things and connects us all. Reiki practitioners understand that we all have the ability to engage with our own healing power to bring change and harmony not just within ourselves, but also with the world around us.
ABOUT THE HEALING CIRCLEThis healing circle offers a safe space for participants to gather and engage in a peaceful self-healing Reiki practice that includes breathing exercises, meditation, hands-on healing, and distance healing, allowing ourselves to deeply relax, and to open to receive the many spiritual blessings of the universe. As Vietnamese Zen master Thich Nat Hanh noted: “When the crowded Vietnamese refugee boats met with storms or pirates, if everyone panicked all would be lost. But if even one person on the boat remained calm and centered, it was enough. It showed the way for everyone to survive.”
