Reiki, Path of the Awakened Heart

TEACHING BACKGROUND

The essence of wisdom in the martial arts as in the spiritual arts is within its lineage. Lineage is the connection to the consciousness of the ancestral line. It is the ability to receive direct knowing or direct transmissions from one’s master or master's. It is far beyond technique. It is also the ability to receive and pass on living wisdom to other students in the line.

REIKI LINEAGE

Acknowledging and honoring the Japanese roots of the practice of Reiki in deep gratitude for the gift we have received from Usui Sensei and the Japanese people that we have shared around the world. My lineage includes both the Japanese and Western branches.

USUI REIKI RYOHO

Many systems and branches of Reiki have emerged since the practice was developed in Japan in the early 1900s, blending with the varying cultural beliefs and traditions across the world. Over the years, I have explored extensively several of them before choosing to teach the Usui Reiki Ryoho, a more traditional system, as a foundation of my practice. Usui Reiki Ryoho is the original name of the system of Reiki. It follows the way the practice was originally understood in Japan, as a spiritual healing practice and path to wholeness. This system was brought by Frans Stiene and Bronwen Logan, Reiki Teachers and founders of the International House of Reiki. It is based on years of comprehensive research, studies and practice in Japan and consistent with what was practiced at the time of Mikao Usui, the founder. It provides students with a solid foundation and tools they can use to create a more balanced and meaningful life. These include meditation, breath-work, hands-on healing, techniques and exercises, and more.

As a member of the Shibumi International Reiki Association, my classes Usui Reiki Ryoho meet the minimum standards and guidelines of the International House of Reiki (IHR) and Shibumi International Association. Students who participate in my Reiki I, II, and III classes will receive the IHR manual and a certificate for their training. For any questions, regarding the content and format of my classes, please contact me.
